Kick boxing Workshop

Kickboxing refers to the sport of using martial-arts-style kicks and boxing-style punches to defeat an opponent in a similar way to that of standard boxing. Kickboxing is a standing sport and does not allow continuation of the fight once a combatant has reached the ground.

Kickboxing is often practiced for self-defense, general fitness, or as a full-contact sport.

At SSFEI Kickboxing workshop you will learn a range of new and in depth techniques and incorporate and build on what you have learnt in Advanced courses. The Kickboxing course will allow to focus on two speciality fields to maximize your coaching ability-Advanced Boxing and Kickboxing.

This Course includes the learning principals, techniques and combinations you learn follows a system of multiple levels of coaching to further enhance your training and development.

Course Outline

Holding Thai Pads:

Learn and understand the difference between the methods needed to hold Thai Pads from Focus Pads.

Safety and Injury Prevention:

What is the safest way and how to prevent injuries to you and your clients especially with the technical difficulty utilizing Thai Pads.

Kickboxing moves:

Elbows (left and right), Switching, Knees, Snap Kicks, Push Kicks, Roundhouse Kicks, all kicks taught with using both legs (utilizing the switch).

Kick boxing Combinations

Learn how to put together and construct safe and effective kickboxing combinations with proper flow and technique.

Kickboxing cardio routines:

Learn how dynamic kickboxing routines and moves can increase the aerobic and anaerobic conditioning of your clients
